UK-Bolivia Trade & Investment Forum.

On 9th June, Hon Rene Orellana Halkyer Minister of Development Planning and Hon Luis Alberto Arce Catacora, Minister of Economy and Public Finance lead the Bolivia-UK Investment Forum, the highest-profile event in London, to date, to focus on deepening and broadening the economic partnership between the UK and Bolivia in priority sectors, including Financial Services, Energy, Hydrocarbons, Mining and Infrastructure.

Through plenary and more targeted sessions, the event also focused on opportunities under the new US$ 48 billion development plan recently announced by the Bolivian President Evo Morales to boost public investment in key economic sectors such as hydrocarbon sector and energy and to improve economic performance, modernise infrastructure and build partnerships for a long term diversified and sustainable economy.

DMA was delighted to organise the Forum on behalf of the Government of Bolivia, in partnership with Canning House.

DMA would also like to thank all those who supported the Forum and helped make it such a success.
